The "Can you Measure Something for Me" Thread

Post by DJpowerHaus »

This is how it works: Post all requests for measurements here. Include the type of car or engine, etc you need measurements from. As of late, we cant make assumptions about what vehicle people are swapping into.

I'll start. If you can measure it, post a response!

Centerline of engine (4G63) to strut tower (Starion).

&

Distance from intake flange on head (DOHC 4G64) to strut tower (Starion).

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Measurments of a KM-132 and a KM-119Gearbox

Post by richb »

I am in need of some measurements off the KM-132 (D50) and KM-119 Gearboxes. Here's what I need.

Length overall, bellhousing to output shaft.
Length from bellhousing to shifter.
Length from bellhousing to mount.
Height from mount location to top of transmission, not including the mount.

This is for a swap I'm thinking about. Here's the tread if interested.

Thanks

Sorry for the delays here.. This thread really isn't living up to what I wanted it to. From now on just create a thread if you need a measurement. I think that'll get faster results.
