Nice pics, is that a thermostate housing on the end of your waterpump? If so, why do you have 2??

What is the weird looking piece under on the left bottom side of the engine, while looking at it from the front??? It its visible in the 2nd pic on your site, and it looks to have a banjo fitting comming from it.

My eyes hurt from the huge detailed pics.
At least you can open them. They keep timing-out half the way down to the firewall and I can't view them at all :(.

I thought they made a RWD 4G63 DOHC for the Starion in AUS? If so, wouldn't they have an intake man. that faces the front of the engine? Maybe it's just cause he's using a Cyclone intake. On front page (the page without the gt3540 extension) there's a pic of a "HKS Twin Cam" head. Is that a Starion unit or some extra special 4G unit? The right side of it looks unusual. I also noticed that the tranny being used is a cable type and seems to bolt straight up. Which unit is that?

thermostate housing on the top of the water pump was just an easy way to get over the alternator - no thermostat in there - but thats all redundant as i have an electric water pump to go on and maybe move the alternator to the other side

weird looking thing with banjo is the oil filter assembly - has the banjo fittings to go to the oil cooler - this is an RS version of the 4g63 form a jap cut if it makes any difference - the oil lines turned up today so will add another pic or 2

starion's only had the SOHC with 4g63 or 4g54 in OZ as far as i know - and the SOHC mani not fit the twin cam

the "HKS Twin Cam" is for the astron 4g54 2.6 - no idea where i got the pic now - but only a few where ever made - and yes i want one

the box is just a narrow block sigma - called a jap box locally - dont think it will last to long so hope'n i can get a supra box in there one day
