Narrow D50 transmission with all stuff needed

Post by DJpowerHaus »

Today I sold (traded) my 2.0L narrowblock from my white car. I was thinking about putting it back on the road, but at this point I'd rather just start fresh with it. Its basicly a shell with an interior at this point.

So here is what is for sale:
D50 transmission with Starion extension housing.
Wilwood Slave Cylinder
Brackets for Wilwood Slave Cylinder
South Bend Clutch DXD full face clutch (holds great and very streetable)
FWD DSM flywheel modified for the pilot bearing.
Wiring harness adapted to '88 Starion.. plugs in and you run 3 more wires for the tach, water temp gauges and check engine light.
Water pipes
Adapter plates to move engine forward 2"
Driveshaft extended 2"

All you need to do is get a donor 2.0L DOHC engine, make an intake manifold, make some IC pipes and you're ready to go. If you need any help getting any of this to work, all you need to do is come to my site and ask. Parts AND support... awesome, right?!

Still working on photos and a price for all this stuff. There might be some other things I can throw in as well.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

You could use that cars harness, or buy the one I already have almost done (I keep harnesses in stock :-D) I think my last harness job was for $125 so that's what this one will be too. So basically the harness is free and you're paying for me to put the plugs on it.

DJ,

Can you give us any more information on that clutch? I am assuming that it is a DSM style pressure plate, but which disc is it?

mattmartindrift wrote:it's a GST clutch and PP. The clutch is AWESOME it's DXD or southbend, VERY VERY big in the diesel world (which we all know make GOBS more torque than we ever will), so that says a little bit for them. I can personally vouch for the awesomeness of this clutch.
How can it be a GST clutch disc, when Starion tranny has different number of splines?

Because Matt forgets things after a few years. Its a 225mm disk with Starion splines and a GST pressureplate and flywheel.

Package only probably. Guess I should really get back out there and get everything rounded up, take some pictures, and figure out a price.
