Would you care to take some undistorted (take them from far away straight on zoomed in) pictures of that block and headgasket? I'd like to photoshop them together so people can compare the holes and water outlets. Detailed pictures from all sides would be good too.
Also... keep that oil pan in good condition. They're nice for RWD setups. Need to add an oil drain, but its a much better shaped pan for RWD, trust me.
That Ancient G63B seems so strange. No balance shafts, timing chain. It just looks totally unrelated.. almost as if the firewall is lieing! Have you posted this to www.mightyd50.com yet? If not.. I will!

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
On the chain drive 4g63 is the bore spacing standard for a 4g63 or is it the same as 4g54? If it is the same as the 4g54 then te engine is an early 4g52. I have one of these in my Colt GTO. The dizzy is driven off the crank and it has no balance shafts. This engine was also fitted in some forklifts as well. As far as I know Mitsubishi stopped using the engine in cars around 1975/76.
