why dont i have spark

why dont i have spark
i wired up my dsm harness and i dont have any spark. i can here my relay working but no spark. i have power and grounds hooked up. do i have to have the b38 connector hooked up. and what do i do with the ignition wire on the connector ? please help

Find the Ignition wire from the SQ harness, I think its a thicker blue wire (you can find it by getting your old Starion engine harness and tracing from the ECU back to the B38 connector). Then find the Ignition wire on the DSM engine harness, which you can find by tracing back from the ECU pin for Ignition... connect this to the other side of the B38 plug. Once labelled, cut the B38 plug and pigtail off of the Starion engine harness and solder and shrink wrap the B38 connector to the DSM engine harness. Plug it into the B38 plug on the chassis.. done.
Does this make sense? This is the logic that should be used to find out what every pin on B38 does.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
