just curious where every one gets performance parts for the 2.4 like pistons rods and those nifty after market main caps i saw a pic of.

thats what I wanted to hear. is that a 1JZ in your sig? man wish I knew where to sorce one of those at that wouldn't cost me a right nut.

I got my 4G64 pistons from Summit. They're in the Wiseco catalog and you can get them from any place that sells Wiseco. Also there are tons of DSM places that sell any number of parts. I've used Jackson Automotove (http://www.jacksonautomachine.com/) or Slowboy (www.slowboyracing.com). If you're looking for lots and lots of rod/piston options check out Magnus Motorsports (www.magnusmotorsports.com) although other places have started stocking the oddball stuff too.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
