MAF logger question

Post by tjc »

I am using MMCd to log on my D50 swap. Everything seems in the normal range but a few.

1) Baro (nml 0.7-1.1 bar) always reads 0.00 bar or 0.07 psi

2) Air temp (nml 0-200 degrees) always reads -17 celcius or 1.3 F

3) EGRT (I do not know what this is) always reads -16.8 F

I guess it is either bad MAF or bad wiring. I'll recheck the wiring, anyone know how to test the MAF or have any other ideas?

Thanks

EGR(Temp) is a California emissions thing and its disconnected on any other US harnesses.

Not sure what the other MAF stuff means. But considering that the EGRT is ~17 by default.. it looks like the Air Temp is reading pretty much default (disconnected) as well.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Yea, your right. I am color blind and I got my wife to look at the wires, I had mixed up a couple when I soldered the plug on. She laughed at me.

Everything reads fine now and the EGRT is still not connected as this is a federal setup.

EGRT will just throw a CEL for emissions when out of spec.
