94 Galant 2.4 DOHC
I'm considering swapping a 2.4 into one of my Starions. Is the 94 Galant DOHC motor a 6 or 7 bolt motor? I was planing on using the internals, head, and timing components from the Galant in a 2.4 mighty max wide block. Would this work?

Why try to locate the ultra rare 2.4L DOHC Galant engine? They only made them for a year and only on certain models. The 2.0L head is the same, the rods are the same, and the pistons are higher compression. Only the cam gears and timing belt is different.
Not sure about 6 bolt or 7 bolt. I thought everything after mid 93 was 7 bolt. Who cares though. If you want a wideblock, you're not going to find it in a Galant.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

I spent a few hours cleaning this up, putting in in columns, filling in missing data. If anything is wrong, please post what should be added, merged, changed. CLICK TO ENLARGE:
