d50/ starion trans rebuild resourses

i was just wondering what is a good place to get rebuild parts for the starion trans or the d50 trans as to i'll probably be using one of these trans in the 4g swap

hey joe you finaly gonna do the swap in that blue car? theres a yard in woodside that has the tranny for 250 and medford auto wreckers has on for 350.and gary has a few quest trannies

yea i'm going to start the project still not sure what trans to put in there just wondering if there is any parts for the quest tranys so they can be rebuilt if not there would be no point in using it , would have to mate something else that could be repair when it goes

I remember finding parts a few year ago when I ventured inside of that transmission. You can definatly find the parts, but do you REALLY want to go inside of one of those transmissions? Those things were meant to be put together once, used and thrown away.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
