HOLY MOTHER OF #$@%$# it's BACK!

Good job on reviving the Dream.

Been a year or so since I posted anything on my project but give all a little update:

Original car was an '87 Conquest TSI, pretty much mint without an engine

Now it's 350Z Daytona Blue with a 4G63 (7bolt) and a Might Max/Starquest tranny hybrid. Since then I've wrecked my black '96 GST, been through a '91 Talon AWD (that one ran mid 11's), and bought a '99 10th aniversary GSX last May. Needless to say the Quest has been sitting around on the back burner. I left off at electrical, but had some concerns regarding the build of my tranny and also the position of the engine (made the same mounting plates as DJ, but used 1" thick material, cams touch hood).

So where too now?
Car is being completly gutted, the firewall cut and recontructed to allow the engine to use the stock mounting positions, and working on the wiring (probably swapping to DSM link...have ECU and wiring harness from '96).

List of misc parts:
- Reverse 'Magnus' style intake (will have issues clearing the master brake cylinder)
- Coilover and AGX suspension from Starquest community
- Camber plates from Austrailia

Seeing this really revived the dream since my DSM team cease to exist and was drifting away from tuning and performance. Have a friend that's doing a 350 in Gen1 RX7 that's been keeping me going. Anyways was excited to see things churing again. Hopefully I'll see track time this year.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
