looks like its doable :-D. I wouldn't have much foot room though and I dont even know where I'd put the front diff not to mention the steering getting in the way.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Judging by the valve body, I'd say it is infact an automatic.

Nice observation... DONT KILL MY DREAM! Heheh... but it still would be cool to have the only 4WD starion since like.. the Group B cars. I hear it was just a 2.0 with a Starion tranny and a montero transfer case. But I dont know under who's legs the thing passed.

drive goes under passenger side, no body mods needed, need custom lower control arms and cross member, need steering rack to be front-steer and use cordia / gallant hubs turned around backwards... that’s about it.... I think.

How do you know this? I want to know more.

OH.. and I took a closer look and its a manual.. it has a slave cylinder and I just think its a weird shift linkage.. similar to most FWD cars... why'd it take so long for me to see it.. not like it matters.. Im just fiddling around in my head.

Wonder how much ground clearance I'd loose with somethign like this if I didnt have to cut any sheet metal.
