Hello guy.. I have newbie question! I recently bought a 1972 Datsun 1200, its a full drag race car. 10 point roll cage, 4 link rear etc. It came with a starion/conquest motor and trans. My plans are to swap the motor for a fully built 4g63t I have on a 1989 GT plymount colt.. My question is. Would it be a straight swap into the mounts that are already there or it would have to be fab to fit the 4g63t. It might be a stupid question but you guys would know more about it then I.. I search the web and noting comes up with any info
Thanks...

Ok I see what you saying.. I guess the mounts would have to be fabricated to fit the 4g63 in there.. The way its set up on the Datsun is with some metal brackets that are going straight to the engine, no rubber mounts in there from what I could see.. The g54 engine still in the car, just need some tuning and Is ready to rock.. Just wanted to have an idea about swapping to 4g63 cus its fully built and I know what I have in there, unlike the g54. I was told its built, but don't know much about how it was built and whats inside that motor.. Also not sure if I should make it auto or leave it manual.. Just trying to get an idea of what would work better
