bill w58 housing

Post by econodream »

Hey all,
So i have a few questions about this setup and having a hard time finding someone that has one all the way together. So im looking in getting the Bill w58 bellhousing for a 2.3stroker im building this winter. I have the tranny now im just wondering what all is kept and used from the donor trans? The description is kinda vague when it come to what all is needed. Do i use a 6bolt awd or fwd flywheel? What clutch disc and pressure plate would i use? Can someone point me to a link were one has been documented and installed?

Or maybe Bill wiill chime in and answer all my silly questions..

In anycase happy swapping

Wow this forum seems pretty much dead of information. A lot of talk not a lot of do except the random few.

im using one. you need the shift fork and pivot ball from the dsm tans. a celica w58 slave, new starter plate, toyota throw out bearing and pilot bearing come with his bellhousing. you use an awd dsm flywheel and pressure plate and a 9"toyota disc for the clutch.
