Just a quick hello note. I'll come back with more info and many more questions soon.
In summary I have a 1966 MkIV Singer Vogue Estate (station wagon). My intention is to replace the Rootes 1725cc 4 banger with a 4G63T from an Eclipse GSX. I have the engine.
What I need is some idea of which tranmission I can use to make this transverse engine sit the correct way in my RWD Singer. Hence I found this site.
This is a bit of a slow burning project, since funds and time are always an issue but I will post pics and updates as I go, and I will ask every dumb question possible since I have never really dealt with this engine combo before (my original plan had been to use a YB Cosworth engine and T5, but I got given this motor first).
