Picked up a really clean 86 d50 that's an auto (2.6) and wondering if it's the baby 904 or quest auto?
And if it IS an auto worth rebuilding, are there any higher stall converters for them?

If it's an '86, it is most likely the A904, as you suggest. It was reputed to be something of a dog.
