minumum needed for swap

whats the minumum needed for swap? 2.4 in to a starquest.

ok is there a list that sums this all up?

whats the minimum needed to do a complete swap. lots and lots of info but seems a little scattered. what harness? what head what mods needed to do to the block or haed to fit. i have read and searched a lot. it would be nice if it was a little more organized.

1 question?

if i use the starion. and transmission, flywheel, clutch.
then all i need is
a good 1st gen head
1st gen harness.
1st gen ECU? <- - -questionable?
1st gen timming parts
2.4 timming belt
2.4 short block from a 5 speed with motor mounts

just read a ton head hurts and i have more questions than before.

dont know what to ask first.

i dont want to bring back old news.
or beat a dead horse.

You need EVERYTHING DOHC.. no SOHC parts on the front of the block.

I have no clue what that's supposed to mean. Can other members here post links that answer these questions?
