Hi, my name is Andres... I'm from Santiago, Chile.

I'm swaping a 4G63 on my 1982 Mitsubishi Lancer GSR.

My car came with a 4G32 Saturn twin carb engine (narrow block), so I brought a 1992 JDM Galant 4G63 DOHC 16V engine to put in it using the same gearbox.

Cheers!

Awesome.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

It's probably the same type of transmission used in the 2.0L trucks. What's the code on the trans?

It's just the stock Lancer 1600 GSR tranny... let's see if it can keep it up!
I searched for the tranny code but haven't found it.
