Loaner Tools - 4G64 (.020) Piston Ring Compressor Sleeve

Post by DJpowerHaus »

Sometimes having the perfect tool for the job makes all the difference, but it sucks buying an expensive quality tool for one use. This is why I've started a tool loaner program starting with a piston ring compressor sleeve. This 87mm ring compressor sleeve is perfect for installing .020 over for 4G64 / .080 for 4G63 pistons.

*OEM
*Wiseco (K564M87, K548M87, K656M87)
*JE Pistons (256466, 256468)
*etc.... any 87mm bore will work with this tool.

How it works, you pay a $30 deposit + shipping + $5 usage fee.
When you are done, ship it to the next person and you get your $30 deposit back. I am happy to add more tools and sizes based on demand.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

I like the idea. I have the ring compressor already. My vote is a torque plate for the next loan-a-tool.
