Hey
Since S13's are going dirt cheap these days and as much as i want to build a starion with a twin cam 2.4l i just can't justify finding one and having to restore it to get it up and going.
My idea is, i have a VR4 engine loom and a JDM RS galant vr4 ECU. I have spare blocks that i can build a 2.0l forged twin cam. I don't have a gearbox, could anyone give me some information on what i would need to do to get it working/modifications. I need a gearbox for RWD, it will be a North South setup. What gearbox can i use. i would need custom cross members to support the gear box and what differential i can use.
Cheers, Brock

I dont think S13s have been dirt cheap for about 5 years now. Supply goes down everyday and demand has been up for nearly a decade now.Auspec Vr4 wrote:Hey

This is a pretty straightforward swap though. Check out the transmission section of the website and also review Bill Hincher's work.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

I'm in the slow process of doing this right now. I'll be using Bill Hinchers bellhousing and a T56.
