RWD 7Bolt Flywheel

Hi there , my mate is doin the same converion as me 4g63t dohc into a exlancer but he has a evo 4g63t with 7bolt he wont to know if there any flywheel that will match up to crank and line up with his starter motor on 5speed rwd gearbox? any help be great

all the 7 bolt flywheel interchange with all the others 7 bolts, the EVO 7 bolt is the same as the second gen 7 bolt in either AWD or FWD design, the same is true with the 6 bolts

ohk i read that a FWDflywheel is what is needed as the ring gear lines up with starter motor, so what mitsi are FWD 7bolt?

the difference could be the AWD ( 270mm diameter) over the FWD (280mm diameter) , the diameter is different to allow the drive for the rear axle so the starter has to be mated to the bellhousing, not the flywheel

in other words, you cant have a FWD flywheel with a AWD bellhousing or visa versa

the starters are all the same

bellhouseing is not AWD its a RWD sigma
