Distance between frame rails on a Starion?

Post by AustinTSI »

Does anyone have a starion with the front bumper off?

I'm trying to find the distance between the two frame rails where the stock intercooler sits so I can figure out what the maximum size of a new intercooler can be.

Thankx.

I don't see how that monster would even fit behind the bumper much less the header panel or with the AC stuff. I live in Texas too and I'm not driving for 100+ days next summer in 100+ degree heat without AC.

Thankx but no thankx.

Sorry, I was very busy with travel last year and haven't been around much.
The car will get to the track this year no matter what. I'll start a build thread, finally.
