i just ordered a head gasket, since im useing the stock pistions i got , i think a copper that it .095 and stock is .050. i should crunch the # to find out what the cr will be. i think im going to run n/a with nos untill i blow it up or get the money for the turbo stuff i need.

what a nice port job, probally hurt it more than i helped it.

sorry for the misunderstanding [/quote]
they do but you have to have a perfectly surfaced head and deck for them to seal right. that means pulling the motor and disassembling it just to run the metal gasket. that sucks if your just changing your head gasket. if the motor is already disassembled and at the machine shop then its no big deal.

Its approaching 2 now. I actually stayed at work (with the T1) for an extra hour just to get some surfing done becuase its 24k here.
Anyways. I guess the best thing is to post my budget....

This has some part numbers in it. Everything is 1G besides the lifters (2G). Does this help at all?

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
