Thanks, I did finally find some. Hard to believe no one had these things! Not even ACL or Clevite direct...

6 bolt 4G63 is the same as 6 bolt 4G64, 4G61, etc... Super easy to find:

.01s search to find these:

http://www.slowboyracing.com/6_bolt_DSM-c-227/

or all over ebay too. Just look for DSM bearings.. 1G.. 6 bolt.. all the same thing.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

For some reason the early first gen was not available anywhere I only found one place that had them. The 90-92's are larger than all of the later years.

Are you sure about that? I have been under the impression that the 4G6x 6 bolt had the same bearings for the full run. When they went to a 7 bolt I imagine they changed, but before that I thought they were all the same. What differnet sizes are there?

he's mistaken, 90-92 would be 6-bolt. anything after 04/92 was a 7-bolt. except for a few Hyundai 6-bolts.
