Just wanted to let everyone here know about this. If you are running a heavy duty DSM clutch there are some instances of the clutch fork breaking in half.
I don't know if the 2G is better than the 1G version or what caused the failure but I did find that there was a company (now out of business) that made a billet clutch fork called Taboo. Sometimes you can find these used. Maybe there are other options.
Just thought I would share this. Of course, with the twin disk clutches, this isn't an issue.

I think clutch technology has come along way since those were made. The heavy pressure plates are going away as friction materials get better and high HP motors are starting to run multi-plate clutches.
But good to know none the less.
