Motor mount brackets.. sweet! Keep all those parts till your done. You'll find yourself needing the oddest things.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Anyone else ever thought about just using the sohc head and intake? I mean, come on, it evens looks like the stock setup!

my 4g64 has a two peice intake, i was thinking of useing the lower half and building my own plentem(sp). i have not had a chance to see if the patterns are the same the 4g63 head, and if they are, then that will bring new ideas for the raceing i do

i have alot of work to do before i can find out if the intake will bolt up, does anyone haveing the head and the intake laying around, if so can you please check to see if the flanges are the same

Not even close to fitting. The turbo head uses evenly spaced intake runners while the truck manifold is a 2 pair setup.

The 16v SOHC has seperate runners might be worth playing with that!
