New guy with a 91 Mighty Max

Post by stubbz14 »

First off I want to start by saying that this site is VERY useful and has a lot of good info on it.

My name is Shane and I am from Toledo OH and I daily drive a 98 s10 (getting bodywork and bagged soon) and I'm picking up a 1991 Mighty Max on Sunday which is actually how I found this site.
I have owned quite a few DSMs in my day and I have some basic knowledge but not as much as I need. I have a few questions and I figured this would be an awesome way to get some info and make sure I don't mess things up. It has the 2.4 and is blown(just what I was told, haven't seen it yet) so I was wondering since I can not find any local engines from a MM is there one that will bolt up and not have to change any wiring/ecus? If so how much would the average cost be(estimate of coarse).
Well that's about it. I'll end this with a few pics because....

Here is the s10 the first day I got it... I plan on putting the s10 front end back on and dropping it like 4 inches and putting some decent 16" rims on thereImage
The Mighty Max I am picking up... Plans are going to be a bodydrop and Possibly a 4g6x turbo swap in the future but for now I just want to get it running good. It's pretty clean for a 91
