I get that ALL the time! I was going to fix an old 2-stroke Detroit for a guy recently...........12v71. It had coughed up a liner (assumed). Anyway, I had talked to the guy several times and he decided that he wanted me to do the repair.
When I went over to meet the guy (who was about 80), he looked at me and asked if Leslie was my dad and when he would be here. LOL! Once he found out he had been talking to me the whole time, he was surprised to say the least. He said he had grandchildren older than me.
Like I said, I get it ALL the time.
I hope everything is going really well for you. Your bellhousing is awesome! I just bought something to stick that RWD 4G63 into. Into anything good lately?

I finished the Sub/Toy adapter and I am building the T56/ 2JZ adapter and the GM auto trans 2JZ and some guy with a V 12 Ferrari to a TKO wants me to build
I been running non stop, Its tax time and I want to build one of my cars for this summer

I am gonna blow away the 2JZ crowd with the new GM system! its kweeel

did you ever get the V 8 Chevy mounted to your weedwacker? what ever happened at the grass roots event?

Still working on the Grassroots car. The problem is that I work on other peoples' stuff so much, I never have time for my own. I am trying to move customers' projects out of the way and not take on any more until I get a few things finished myself.....just tired of building and not racing right now. I did get my turbo minivan running/driving/stopping again, though!

Oh Great! Now you build a 2JZ adapter!!! Now im going to have to ditch my 4g and make the switch! The biggest reason i stayed with the 4g in my valiant project was because of the great price and quality of your adapter kit!

Anyways keep up the good work, also would you be interested in doing a cast 4g narrow block rear sump oil pan and pickup tube? (6 bolt)

If so ill be your first customer!
