So i found a 91 gsx recked this weeked in the junk yard. So i pulled the head + cams, intake + TB, valve cover. The ecu was gone, and someone already trashed the wiring harness, bla. Well they charged me $143 for all that. Kinda high, i was pissed but paid it. Now it is time to go back to the other junk yard and grab the block. Is there anything else i should grab from the GSX?

Everything off the front of the block (oil pump/front cover, all timeing stuff, cast parts that hold timing stuff, little metal timing belt guards.. lots of stuff.. perhaps under the cover of darkness ;-).

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

like$50. you gotta figure that the cars are everywhere in the junkyards and it only takes about 15 minutes to get one out.

If you are so worried about the baggy pants just sew pockets on the inside (BIG ONES) its not an airport there's no metal detectors there!
