Hey guys
Im from new zealand and am puting a rvr/evo 3 motor into my 78 gl lancer
Using the l200 gearbox and 4g32 ring gear on a evo 3 flywheel with l200 clutch plat and evo 3 pressure plate.
The 4g32 ring gear allows the correct starter position for the l200 gearbox.
I am also using a modifyed evo 4+ exhaust manifold and turbo as they are a direct bolt on if u put the turbo flange on a angel.
This way i get benefits of twin scroll for faster spool.
Also using the RVR cam gears so i dont have to modify the firewall to clear the CAS.
Also have had my standard intake modifyed
so the last thing realy todo is make the water pipes. from reading the site i like the idea of runing the pipe from the front frost plug but i dont want to split the head and modify the head gasket ect
How will i go with just blocking up the rear inlet and using the front? or will i run into over heating problems?

just use both outlets, at a restricted hose size, the front outlet can be the usual largerer size and the second outlet from the back can be a 19mm relief size, that way its compact enough to fit on the firewall side, bring them both foraward, build a manifold for them to combine and add the thermostate in the manifold, then route that outlet to the radiater inlet

i'm running the Jay Racing front exit kit with blockoff plate. their fitting needs to be modified to clear the stock waterpump, and you have to fab your own hold down. i ran a 6an line tapped into the blockoff plate as a relief line with the idea that if the coolant at the back of the head became hotter than that at the front, it would be under more pressure and force its way up to the t-stat housing where i tied the line into. you can see a few pics of the setup here:
