The previous buyer backed out.
1988 Red Starion, (just has quest tail lights) with about 140,000 on the chassis with 10,000 miles on a new motor. Car is a 5 speed with stebani short throw shifter installed, and a fairly new stage II ACT clutch, and lightened aluminum flywheel. Original cloth interior, black in good shape.
Its got the lightweight aluminum hypereutectic pistons in the bottem end. The head is a non-jet valve bought brand new from Alabama cylinder heads. The head gasket, I believe was a copper shim ordered from austraila. The video shows a different intake manifild but I put a stock 88 intake back on it so it will pass emissions.
The inspection and tags are expired and I'm not sure if it will pass inspection where they check for emmisions, haven't tried. It needs a paint job. I have a video of it that you can check out at http://austincs.com/car/FOR_SALE.wmv ::: (this video is 300meg)

* The front rubber strut mounts are new (new since the video was made)
* The rear tires are brand new but it will need 2 new front tires. (new since the video was made)
* 3 additional heads that need work (1 has alredy been dipped but not pressure checked, all appear to be cracked but haven't been pressure checked)
* installed stock 88 air can and air sensor for emissions (new since the video was made)
* new turbo intake accordian air hose (new since the video was made)
* replaced crank pulley that was coming apart with a pulley that has a trigger wheel mounted on it if you decide to go with EDIS to eliminate the distributor.
* extra right and left drive shafts (half-shafts)
* 1 or 2 extra engine block, condition unknown (one is still in a car if you want it)
* 3-4 additional catalytic converter (condition unknown)
