Bonneville World Finals

Post by lsr mike »

159.894 MPH In the last mile at the Bonneville World Finals. That was my highest speed of the meet. My backup run on Saturday morning was a paltry 150.029MPH. for a average of 154.961MPH to up my existing record by 17 MPH.

Clutch works very well with a reinforced firewall, flexed quite a bit initially, but angle iron fixed that. Now I need a left leg workout video :-)

Hey, I kinda thought of something..
What about enclosing in the whole bottom? Kinda like a match-box toy car.
Smokey Yunik did it with one of his cars and gained a bunch, from what i remember reading.
Tucking in the tires a little too with sand disc hubcaps.
You would just need room for the suspension to move a little to get it on/off the trailer. And you could route the exhaust up out the bed..

Just a thought. E
