Hey guys
Just bolted my tranny in and have found that the reverse switch is pressed hard up against the transmission tunnel, rubbing the 2 wires badly and pressing the gear lever over to the drivers side (rhd car) by about just over an inch.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so found a solution to it? Is there a smaller reverse switch that will fit? Don't really want to have to take to the tunnel with a hammer.
Car is an 86 starion narrowbody with wideblock 4g63 and b2600 box. Engine is moved an inch forward to clear the CAS on the firewall.
Any help appreciated

Cheers mate, not really keen to take a hammer to the trans tunnel. JAS left his off and just put a bolt in there but im pretty sure you need reverse lights to be roadworthy here.mainstream wrote:Everyone I've seen with this swap has used the good ole BFH to make room or just left it off. Dunno what I'm gonna do yet.
