Havn't really posted many pictures up. I've been slowly building this up and just wanted to show what I've done. Somethings I have differently then other people so I'm open to any comments or criticism you can throw at me. All I have is the crappy iphone as a camera so sorry about the pics, if you want different shots let me know and I can snap some.

The rearend is out of a montero sport w/ a hybrid lsd.

The leaf bushing is a part that I couldn't find anywhere. Ended up getting something from daton springs in detroit and modified them to fit. If anybody needs the info I can get you a part number. I've replaced every bushing/shocks on this truck so it should drive well!

I also pulled the a/c off a donor truck at the yard. I modified the lines (truck) to bolt up to the eclipse compressor.

I'm using the eclipse condenser as one of my heat exchangers in my air to water setup. It fits nicely in between the radiator and the truck a/c condenser.

I wouldn't suggest using the DSM oil cooler for a heat exchanger on your intercooler. It's way too small. I would also like to see a cleaner install of the intercooler itself. Maybe you could put a heat shield above the exhaust and mount the intercooler flat in that space.

Another option might be to mount it more vertically behind the passenger side headlight if it doesn't interfere with the MAS.

Otherwise it looks like you got things handled. Keep us posted on the progress.

The oil cooler is for the oil. Im using a a/c condenser from the eclipse as the heat exchanger. You can't see it in the pictures.


I havn't made brackets yet for the air/to/water box so I might move it anything is possible.

im interested in the way the throttlebody is mounted and what throttle cable youre using.

My sole reason for flipping the throttle body around was my faiv coolant lines faced towards the motor and not away for a cleaner for a look. However I've since removed the faiv so it wasn't even an issue anymore.

To flip the throttle I had to tear apart the throttle return. Because once its tb is flipped it faces the wrong direction. I had to cut the throttle stop off the tb. I currently never added a throttle stop, I just plan on putting something behind the gas pedal as a stop. I flipped the linkage by removing the nut, pulling the metal plate off (make sure the spring does not come off). I couldn't imagine trying to get the spring back on this thing. The plate comes off in one piece. Drill out out the tack welds that hold the two pieces together. Flip the one and on the other, bend it so it doesn't hit the closed throttle sensor. Weld it back up and put it back on and you are good to go. its kinda hard to explain, but just try and it will be become obvious on what needs to happen.

I'm using the stock ram 50 cable. I took the firewall plate that mounts the throttle and cut it. I rewelded it so it faces straight down. The throttle cable goes down, and loops back up and comes up around the outside of the intake. The bracket I'm using to hold the cable to the intake came off my eclipse donor car.

I started the car for the first time last night, and besides the motor not being grounded, coolant leaks, and the charging circuit not working everything worked great. Started after only just a few cranks, and idle extremely well. I was honestly expecting some throttle surge. But it was rock solid.

I actually havn't pushed the truck very hard. I'm hoping I can do a burn out without breaking the trans or the axle. If you look at current coolant setup, I really have no way of filling the system with the thermo in. So the truck stays too cool, to push it. I've fab up a neck so I can raise the fill cap. But I'm waiting on my welder to finish up the part.

BFG A/T tires and the rearend is a 4.4 hybrid lsd from a montero sport. All new bushings, shackles, balljoints, shocks etc.

Oh does anybody know where to get the oem trim for these trucks?
