Turbo Options?

Post by SuperStarion »

Ok i dont feel like rotating the lil t-25 i have around to do the 4g63 swap and was wondering what other turbos i can use (cheap but good). I saw the Toyota CT20 off of the Supra but i think it may be to small. Or maybe a Evo turbo but not sure where to find a good one thats used and cheapish. Im open to any options. Oh and i also have a 12a turbo also not sure if it would be worth keeping or will it be better than the T-25 if i have to rotate it.

An Evo III 16G will keep the corners of your mouth pinned to your ears until about 450ish HP (On a 2 liter).

After that, you'll step into the land of Garrett. Prepare yourself after that.

Clocking a mistu turbo is easy. All you need is a snap ring pliers and a dremel tool. The compressor housing is kept in its correct rotation just by a little tab looking dowel thing. Just grind it down and you can rotate it anyway you need. I really like OEM mitsu turbos. Can't get any more reliable. May not be as fun on the top end as some FP3065 monster but they are great for street use and last a long time.
