Tell me what you want and I'll do it. I'll start on a detailed list (I'm a fanatical list maker) as soon as I get done with my list of things to do today.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

How about a guide to put a 4G63 in an AE86 chassis while retaining manual transmission. I planning on staying mostly stock so from what I read a D50 trans would be fine correct? what about the hydraulics? or is the dodge clutch cable operated? later on down the road might put the 63 top end on a 64 short block but right now I just want to get it mounted. BTW out of curiousity is the 64 block taller than the 63 or does it make up displacement in the bore.

and it has an 87mm bore

I'm working on updating the site for the basics.. but people need to realize that there will NEVER be a swap guide. This stuff involves alot of massaging and thinking no matter how you do it. Go to the store, buy a brain and think about things and what you need to do to get it done.

There are just way too many options of a guide.

If using a D50 transmission, why not get a 2.4L block and run a 2.1L non-turbo? Or even a long-rod 2.4L will rev very well. I think you could make some very decent naturally-aspirated horsepower with a 2.4L. In either case, I would recommend a 2g head for a naturally-aspirated engine due to the smaller, higher velocity runners.
