carbureted vs fuel injection mighty max

Post by gvr4 »

I have a question? is it harder to do a 4g63 swap in to a carbureted mighty max? or should I wait to find a fuel injected one, because Im going to pick up an 88 mighty max, but if its harder to do the swap I dont think ill pick it up, anything will help, thanks.

ive actually heard its easier because there are less of the truck's electronics that you have to worry about keeping working.

my 88 ram50(carb'd) started with minimal issues during even the coldest of Iowa winters(sometimes lower than -30 windchills). i think youd be fine to DD it for a while.
