Have any of you guys here set down and built a sheetmetal style intake for one of these engines? I have a friend that has helped me do some stuff for some drag v8's before.

I did this instead to a Truck intake manifold.
Beginning
Removed runners...
result after welding the flange to the tank.
This turns the Throttle body 90 degrees making it point straight up.
