i believe the only oem belllhousing that bolts to the turbo 2 tranny is the wide bolck housing, a certain year mazda truck came with the g54 motor. seems like the bellhousings are also kinda rare being they only made it for a few(2?) years.

The RX7 transmission is not worth the trouble to make a custom bellhousing. Just put a Toyota transmission behind your narrow block.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

I've been hiding out in our nation's capital. Can't seem to get any motivation to work on car stuff, but I do check this forum every week or so.

Some one car to elaborate on why not? I am working on an FC swap, and I am guessing it would be easier to use a T-II trans in the rx-7 than use a toyota trans.

I am not really looking to make big numbers, I am only shooting for 200 rwhp on a 2.4 high comp. I know stock T-II has a similar output level.

Since no narrowblock bellhousing exists for the Turbo II transmission, and making one would be too much trouble (IMO), your best option would be to track down a wideblock to do your swap with. The money you would spend to refresh the block would likely be less than buying / developing some sort of adapter to use a cheaper / more available narrow block and has the benefit of having been rebuilt.

Thanks. I would rather go with a 2.4 wideblock. easier, simpler. KISS you know.
