Grinding Noise=Bad

Post by jeffball610 »

Well, I had some grinding noises coming from my passenger side wheel during left hand turns. I also noticed some "torque steer" while boosting that seemed out of the ordinary. I drove to and from the Redline Time Attack event in Pahrump, NV (about 90 miles round trip) and parked the car. I determined that the bearings were bad and it was also time for some new brake rotors and pads. This is what I found upon disassembly.

I consider myself lucky to be alive! Never let something like this go unchecked even for a short period of time. Next time you might not be so lucky.
