1987 L200 swap

Post by paullen »

Hi,
I have a 1987 L200 with the 2.0. I'm looking for a simple engine swap for a little more power, currently I have the standard engine (running on 3 cylinders) with a Weber 38/38 carb.

Any idea what the easiest swap would be? Turbo or N/A I'm not fussed, just want a bit more power without too much work. I was thinking of a Starion swap, but have found finding one very difficult!

Any ideas would be appreiciated! :D

you could re-build the 2.0, add some fast bits, Header, higher compression pistons, agressive cam shafts, or go the head swap route, and get a DOHC, that then can lead to a turbo down range...
