using 4g63 dohc head with carbs

Post by Patrickz »

Hi,
I'm currently rebuilding a 4g63 sohc engine for my L200 ute and I want to convert it to DOHC running twin sidedrafts so i don't have to bother with all the wiring associated with converting to fuel injection, but after disassembling the engine I realised that you can't run a dizzy with the DOHC head. Has anybody out there done a similar conversion/have a soloution to my problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Patrick

Can you go into some detail what is required to run a crank trigger setup?
