my 1st question is cooling, the water port on the back? does every 1 just run a bend and run a hose? do u have to cut ur trns tunnel to fit any of the trans? head choices? what hyundai has the head u guys use?

Coolant is simple you can either plum it around to the front, or block it off as decribed in Bill's thread on this site and convert to front exit water neck. Personally if you leave the stock oil pan you will be faced with having to mount the motor far enough forward that fire wall clearance is not a issue with keeping the rear water neck. I do suggest buying the 90 degree housing from a NA model this will make it easier to route.

As far as tunnel clearance I havent run my car yet but I plan on use Bill's T56 kit once he compleate them. I do know for a fact that the GM power glide fits with a slight modification to the tunnel I currently have my car marked up with Bills auto kit and was supprised that BMW actually put a decent size tunnel in these cars.
