I was browsing eBay and came upon this:

It looks like this transmission moves the sifter back at least 6 inches. I bet someone could fab up a nice bracket similar to this if you needed to move the shifter location back more. Just a thought for those that might need it.

Yeah, I remember seeing your thread. I don't think I saw one that moved the shifter back as far as this one though. Maybe my memory is slipping. I thought this ad covered a good representation of what it looked like with the whole tranny and had some good pics. I might have to move my shifter back some and thought others might find the info useful. I'll link to your thread for others to reference as well.

that soarer shifter extension only works with that tailshaft housing from what i was told from the yota guys. the only option i found is to get an extension housing from tech 2 who offer multiple legnths or driftmotion or if you want to make your own. if you want to go the soarer tranny good luck they are big coin and hard to get.
