Has anyone ever run the auto mighy max tranny behind a wideblock in a swap? I'm running the d50 5 speed trans currently and am not impressed with it. But I have this huge auto from a 90 max just sitting here as well, so I'm thinking . . . hmm . . . anyways anyone ever used the auto before? With what results?
Well it's a freakin truck tranny, to me it shifts like crap in the quest. Just don't think its made to be shifted like I'm doing it and I don't think it can take it much longer. the quest is much heavier than the truck the tranny came out of.
check out 'Trans-Go' for shift kits. Otherwise, I dont' think there is much for them.
You would have to put more clutches in the packs, disable the overdrive portion, even mess with the converter..
