What head?

I have several heads in my back yard that I am debating over to use on my new 2.4 wide block build. I have the 2.0 turbo head on my narrow block that I could use, I also have a 1.6 head off of my turbo mirage that I could use, as well as the 2.4 head I can use. Which is the best to go with for high revs and good hp numbers? I read on here that the 1.6 is a high compression head but some say that is balony. Or should I take the time to find this 4g67 head with the bigger ports? Are the bigger ports really worth it??? Any help thoughts please?

There is a bit more aftermarket fot the 2.0DOHC head in any case. is the 2.4 a SOHC 8 Valve?

Yes I believe the truck I got the engine out of was set up stock as a 2.4 Sohc 8 valve head.
