Wimpy.. you could have made it work.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Still working on my swap ('84 D50)...is there a solution yet? Maybe a smaller brake booster switch in or is it hammer time again.
I already plan to bang in the firewall to fit the water neck and CAS. Gotta get that cross flow.
Brake boosters should NOT NOT!!!! see boost.

im doing a 4g63 in an 87 d 50
i know the solution is to redo the intake manifold but im kinda thinking of puttin a mustang v6 brake booster in mine and running my intercooler pipes through the fire wall.
now i know this sounds stupid but im gonna try it if it works then good, if not then what the hell.

I thought about not rotating the turbo and running the MAS into the cabin.. but that's all crazy talk.

Is it really worth all that effort and fabriation to an immobile chassis, when you could take the 5lb manifold off and take it to a welder, pay him $$, spend the 2 days you would have spent banging in the firewall and go to work, stay overtime, make twice as much as you spent on fabrication, and not have to do it twice (and miss more chances for OT in the future).

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/321988. The manifold mod is easy just get a throttle body elbow cut it off to suit and get it welded on the other end of the manifold!
