I started my 2nd to last class for college. Its all I'm taking now so I'm trying to do a bang up job on it since I've blown my GPA in the last year.

I have a project to design a site and do some usability on it. What I want to build is a site to help gain sponsorship so I can go drifting next year. The site is also important for fans and especially YOU GUYS! So I need your input. What do you think should be on it from a fan / zerog member perspective.

What do fans want? I'm guessing it'll mostly be SQ / DSM people, but Nissan guys are sure to stop by.
What do sponsors want before AND after they are sponsoring me?
What image should I promote (and not fake) that will agree with the image a sponsor wants to promote?

Try not to all jump on what somebody else has already said. Try to think hard about what you REALLY think the site should have.

My ideas so far are to make it styled in the late 80s early 90s design style.... I dont think it has a name, but if you've seen Saved By the Bell or early Fresh Prince.. you know what I'm talking about. I'm also thinking about doing it scrolling SIDEWAYS (for various reasons.... drifting... old Nintendo games, etc.) What do you think?

I have to do a full write up by TUESDAY the 14th of JUNE.. so DONT WAIT! I'm going to do my best to ask questions to Formula D drivers and sponsors too. Hope I can get enough info by then (and get back from TX in enough time to write it up).

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

im no help as im setting my car up for drag. i know nothing about drifting and never want to learn. as far as the site, just keep it real without a lot of gimmicks. as soon as the whole rwd thing really catches on i think that people will come.
