Project FD w/ a way-too-big turbo.

Post by stealthx32 »

I figured I'd post this up here so you guys could critique me and tear me apart before I got myself too deep into trouble. :)

So I bought and FD shell w/ a blown motor

New bellhousing on the right

And then I added, Holset HE351VE (fucker is 47 lbs)

2G DSM head, 272 web cams, HKS valvesprings

FC T2 clutch & PP

Fidanza 11 lb flywheel

Thanks Tirerack.

Someone on another forum noted that the FD input shaft is slightly longer than the FC T2...

So it looks like I'll be swapping input shafts...

Good luck with the build. I am looking foward to seeing how you hook up the adj vane assembly, a few guys have installled these over on tuners(I am sure you are aware of this).

What the hell? You tease us with parts and no progress! Get to work so we can live vicariously through you and get off our asses to do our own projects. :D
