I need to figure out what exact years and models that the
4g63 & 4g64 Wideblocks came in.

If anyone can post some info, it would be much appreciated.

Also, what is the size difference between the smallblock and wideblock?

I know I seen some info. But, I figured it would help myself, and alot of other people out if everyone posted their knowledge of the vehicles the wideblocks came in, and what options that vehicle had and so on.

I tried going through the forums, but its kinda hard when that one idiot changed all his posts to "aa".

Here is the wide block pattern on the left and the narrow block pattern on the right.

And here they are on top of eachother.

The width of the bottom two bolts is a 1" difference between patterns. (13.25" vs 12.25")

As for the models and years, refer to <a href='http://rebuilt.net/Mitsubishi_Engines.htm' target='_blank'>this website</a>.

Wide 6 Bolt G63B (2.0L)
5/86-5/89 Auto RWD Mitsubishi Pickups, 13.25" across lower bellhousing bolts, 6 bolt crankshaft.

Wide G64B and 4G64 (2.4L)
6/88-92/5 RWD Mitsubishi Pickups, Wagon, Van, 13.25" across lower bellhousing bolts, 6 bolt crankshaft.
