IT seems I need the extension for my D50.

No, I need 10ish inches, suposedly the tail housing only gives me 2 which would not be enough. Can you confirm or deny this?

I used one of these on my d50, the engine mounts I made moved the engine approx 2.9" foward, using the starion tailhousing, the shifter was located back perfectly center of the floor in the cab, so I would say this will get you about 3", still 7 short.

Why did you decide to move ti forward on a D50?

To avoid bashing in the firewall to clear the cas and t-stat housing.
